Sunday, July 6th

10:45 a.m.

This year, our Camp meeting and picnic will

be on July 6, 2008.  The meeting is a great

way to celebrate the old, and the new ways

to praise God bringing the entire

congregation together for one worship

service beginning at 10:45 a.m.  The UMM

will be cooking hot dogs and hamburgers

for us to enjoy after our Camp Meeting has

ended, and we continue our worship in a

time of fellowship.  We are asking folks to

bring their favorite picnic side dishes to

share.  We had a marvelous time last year.

The Praise Team will provide a few songs,

and we will sing old favorite hymns as we

did last year.  We clear out the sanctuary of

the chairs, so plan to bring lawn chairs,

blankets or whatever you would like to use

to sit on.  We will, of course, have some

chairs available. 

Please pray for those attending the Calhoun

County Salkehatchie Camp, and the families

they will be helping, July 5-12, 2008.  Pray

for their safety, and that their work will show

God's love to the families and community they

are helping.

Salkehatchie Summer Service is a pioneering

servant ministry at selected sites in South

Carolina involving high school and college

age youth, adult community leaders and

persons of different cultures in upgrading

housing, motivating to help themselves, and

providing all participants with opportunities

for personal growth and service.

Thanks to very one who made Vacation Bible

School a great success.  This was a powerful

ministry for both the children of NEUMC and
